Paul is a qualified tax accountant and fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (FCA) with over 20 years post-qualification experience. Since qualifying, he has spent over 15 years in front office tax structuring/corporate M&A roles at major investment banks. He has advised on and structured UK, US European, Asian and Latam tax matters, this includes high value M&A deals, renewable energy investments and complex restructures spanning a broad range of clients and taxes.

John is an M&A lawyer (admitted in England and Wales and New York) with many years’ private practice experience at international firms.  John heads our Special Situations practice, which insures against specific, known, non-tax risks.  John also acts as Themis’ Claims Advocate and facilitates the handling of all our Claims.

Amelia works closely with the entire Themis team and ensures our broking partners and carriers receive the highest level of service.

Gabriella joined Themis as Senior Underwriter and Head of Nordics in June 2023. Prior to joining, Gabriella spent 5 years at one of the ‘Big 4’ in their Sweden Legal Advisory team, advising Private Equity and Corporate clients to structure and close complex transactions across industries. Whilst there, she also spent almost 10 months on secondment as a legal consultant in the Private Capital Transaction Team in Luxembourg. Gabriella works across our W&I international book, with a particular focus on the Nordic and Benelux markets.

Pranav has been a qualified solicitor since 2021 and has experience advising banks, funds and corporates on a range of cross-border tax concerns. This has included advice in relation to deal structuring, group structuring, fund reorganisation and formation, and finance transactions.

Angela joined Themis as an underwriter on our US tax team, bringing extensive M&A tax experience from her tenure at ‘Big 4’ accounting firms in New York. She has broad experience providing US tax services, including tax due diligence, restructuring, and state and local tax consulting. Angela holds a J.D. degree and an LL.M. in taxation law specialising in corporate tax.

Millie began her role as an Underwriting Assistant at Themis in June 2024. She brings a background in economic analysis from her time in the Civil Service and tax consultancy from her tenure at a 'Big 4' accounting firm, where she earned her Association for Tax Technician (ATT) qualification.

Simon has over 14 years of experience advising a range of UK and multi-national businesses on corporate tax matters. Prior to joining Innovisk, Simon worked for national and international law firms including DLA Piper, Mayer Brown and Gateley.
